16 Providers Earn Top 10 Spots in This Month’s Provider Ranking of Insurance Apps

Looking for insurance apps? PYMNTS has got you covered. In this month’s edition of its monthly Provider Ranking of Insurance Apps, there are 16 to choose from.

With several tie scores among the competitors, that many insurance apps have earned a spot in the top 10.

The Top 5

In the top spot, you’ll find the two leaders who shared this honor last month and are here again: GEICO Mobile — Car Insurance and Progressive. Each earned a score of 100.

Just below, at No. 2, there’s another tie. State Farm is here, as it was last time, but it now shares the spot with Allstate Mobile, which has moved up a level in the ranking since last month.

Similarly, in the No. 3 spot, there’s another tie between contenders who were highly ranked last month as well. USAA Mobile has moved up one spot and shares this ranking with Liberty Mutual Mobile, which has moved up two levels.

Ranked No. 4 is Jerry: Car Insurance, which has gained two levels since last time, when it was in the sixth position.

Following right behind, and climbing just as fast, is Lemonade Insurance. This app has moved up two spots and now sits at No. 5.

The Top 10 

In the second tier of the rankings, we have three more ties and four providers that have joined the top 10 this month.

At No. 6, there’s Safeco Mobile, which has risen two levels since last time and now shares this spot in the rankings with Travelers Mobile, which has leapt three levels.

Similarly, at No. 7, we have two more contenders who have moved up and now shared this location. Farmers Insurance Mobile has climbed up two levels since last time and now shares this seat with Esurance Mobile, which has jumped up three levels.

In the No. 8 spot, we have the first of the contenders who are new to the top 10 this month. Say hello to the American Family Insurance App.

Next among the new members is the Nationwide Mobile app, which joins this elite group at No. 9.

Rounding out the top 10 are two more apps that are new to this group and who share this spot with tie scores: Clearcover Car Insurance and Cover—Insurance in a Snap.
