Delivery Solutions Signs Walmart GoLocal as Last-Mile Partner
Delivery and fulfillment firm Delivery Solutions says Walmart’s GoLocal service has signed onto its platform as a last-mile delivery provider.
“The collaboration will further enable Delivery Solutions customers to deploy an omnichannel shopping experience complete with express, same-day and next-day delivery, providing retailers of all sizes with reliable, fast and efficient delivery,” the Plano, Texas-based company said in a news release.
Launched in 2018, Delivery Solutions offers services that include delivery intelligence while the consumer is browsing, post-purchase tracking, visibility and communication.
Uber Unveils Bill Splitting, Other Group Dining Features
Uber Eats has launched a series of new features for its Group Ordering function, designed to coincide with a planned return to post-pandemic at-home gatherings,
Among the new features is bill splitting, which lets users “create a group and allow individuals to order from the same restaurant and pay for whatever they’d like,” the company said.
There’s also Deadlines, which lets people who’ve begun a group order create a deadline so that everyone has enough time to submit, as well as auto-reminders, designed to let customers avoid having to bug their friends about getting their orders in on time.
Citi Commercial Cards will use card issuing platform Marqeta for its tokenization-as-a-service capabilities.
The company says this move lets Citi provision corporate plastic and virtual cards into mobile wallets, citing data from Trading Platforms showed that digital or mobile wallet payments were the most used point-of-sale method for payments worldwide in 2020. By 2024, a third of point-of-sale transactions around the globe will be from mobile wallets.
“This offering will give our corporate clients a convenient way to instantly provision a card into their mobile wallet of choice to pay seamlessly and securely on the go. Marqeta’s tokenization services will be implemented globally in over 40 markets,” said Gonca Latif-Schmitt, global head of Citi Commercial Cards.
ACI Worldwide Launches Fraud Scoring for Financial Institutions
Global real-time payments software firm ACI Worldwide is rolling out a fraud scoring platform powered by machine learning to offer real-time security and fraud prevention to financial institutions (FIs).
The company says ACI Fraud Scoring Services (FSS) is a first for the industry, supported by ACI’s patented incremental learning technology and designed to help FIs reduce losses associated with fraud by as much as 75%.
The service will initially launch in North America and Europe, making its way to other parts of the world over the next few months.
Billtrust Partnership With Procede Software Expedites Payments for Truckers
B2B automation and integrated payments platform Billtrust has teamed up with Procede Software, a heavy-duty truck and commercial vehicle dealer management system (DMS) and solutions provider, for a partnership the companies say will expedite payments, boost revenue and increase profits.
“Procede Software continues to build our Certified Partner ecosystem with industry-proven solutions that bring our customers real value,” said Procede CEO Larry Kettler. “Partnering with Billtrust provides our customers state-of-the-art accounts receivable management paired with expertise in electronic invoicing and integrated digital payment optimization.”
The partnership will see Billtrust will integrate its cloud-based accounts receivable (AR) software with Procede’s dealer management software to offer customers complete automated, electronic invoicing and digital payments solution, along with access to Billtrust’s Business Payments Network (BPN).
