Best Buy on Friday (May 6) announced it’s expanding some of its existing product lines and adding new ones that will soon be available in select Best Buy stores and on BestBuy.com, with a focus on health and wellness, outdoor living and transportation, all with a technology twist, of course.
About 300 Best Buy stores and BestBuy.com will offer a new collection of skincare technology, featuring Foreo, Vanity Planet and PMD Beauty, among other brands. It also includes the latest products from Therabody, which recently launched TheraFace PRO, a portable device that provides percussive therapy, microcurrent, LED and cleansing for your face.
Best Buy has also added heaters, fire pits, speakers, TVs, grills and Yardbird outdoor furniture. Yardbird recently introduced its Ludlow collection, featuring all-weather, hand-woven wicker on oversized, rust-proof, aluminum-framed loveseats, sofas and custom sectionals.
The tech-based retailer is also adding charging devices for its eTransportation suite of products in several stores while bringing some of the 750 related products and accessories into stores in the next 18 months rather than just selling them online.
More immediately, though, Best Buy will pilot a service and repair offering for eTransportation products in some stores this spring. This is on top of the free Geek Squad assembly of eBikes for Best Buy Totaltech members.

Last month, Best Buy unveiled its new at-home Haul-Away service, saying it’s the first national retailer to come to customers’ homes to pick up and recycle unwanted products — even those it didn’t sell — ranging from laptops to washing machines.
The one-time cost for the standalone pickup service is $199 but is being offered at a 20% discount of $159 as an added perk for TotalTech members.
While the Haul-Away program limits removal to two large items, such as console TVs, refrigerators and outdoor grills, the company will also remove an unlimited amount of smaller items like cellphones, video games, cables, cords, cameras and more.
Best Buy also has programs that allow the retailer’s customers to have a similar product removed when they buy a new one, such as a dishwasher.
