Saldo Apps Offers Toolbox for Micro and Small Businesses

Celigo Talks Back-Office Data Integration

Ukraine’s Saldo Apps announced Monday (June 13) it now has a suite of five apps that small and micro-sized business can use independently or in tandem to run their operations.

“Instead of overloading one app with tons of features and tools, the company created an ecosystem that allows using separate apps for solving different problems,” Saldo stated in a news release.

The five apps are: Invoice Maker, for invoice generation and accounting; ORTY, for managing restaurants, including online ordering; Saldo Finance, for personal finance management; Mileage Tracker, which can be used for calculating tax deductions; and Receipt Scanner, for expense tracking.

The company said on its website that it plans to introduce additional apps.

Noting the complexity of various aspects of running a very small or small business, Saldo Apps wrote in the announcement: “It is a pity to see how many startups shut down due to financial issues every year.”

The company said the solution to the complexity and cost problems facing small businesses is “simple and minimalistic.”

“After all, it makes no sense to buy a 10-in-1 food processor if you only use it for making fresh juice. Purchasing a juicer seems to be a more logical and cheaper solution. The same rule applies to the business sphere — sometimes entrepreneurs have to spend too much time and money on cumbersome apps that they only need for one particular function,” the announcement continued.

Saldo aid that it lets entrepreneurs “enjoy running the business and not the numbers” and has more than 500,000 customers in the U.S. and abroad. The company maintains that it has reached “more than 850,000” downloads of its software.
