Global restaurant technology company PAR Technology (PARTech) has closed an acquisition deal for MENU Technologies, an omnichannel ordering solution for international restaurant brands.
The acquisition of MENU gives PARTech a digital ordering tool to complement its suite of unified commerce solutions, according to a press release Tuesday (Aug. 9). With the addition of MENU’s technology-driven tools, PARTech anticipates that it will be better positioned as one of the first unified commerce solutions catering to enterprise restaurants.

“Today, restaurants are overwhelmed with disparate technologies that are devoid of the connectivity or intelligence that a unified solution offers,” said PARTech CEO and President Savneet Singh. “The acquisition of MENU allows PAR to consolidate a restaurant’s off-premise and on-premise orders into one unified tech stack.
”Restaurants will now have a unified, data-driven network from the point of order to the kitchen, and all the way through fulfillment, allowing their teams to focus on delivering a better guest experience, instead of wasting time on vendor management.”
PARTech is based in New Hartford, New York, and provides software, systems and service solutions to the restaurant and retail industries. Founded in 1968, more than 100,000 restaurants in over 110 countries use the company’s point-of-sale, loyalty and back-office software offerings, per the release, in addition to hardware and drive-thru solutions.
