Case management platform Assembly Software has launched an online payments integration with LawPay, a platform that helps law firms streamline collections and billing.
According to a Tuesday (Aug. 9) news release, users of Neos — Assembly Software’s cloud-based solution — now have access to LawPay. Neos can manage all notes, documents, calendar dates and checklist items that can be transferred from intake to case for full pipeline management, the release said.
“The addition of the LawPay integration to Neos is a very proud moment for me and for Assembly as a whole,” said Assembly CEO Daniel Farrar. “This technology will enhance our current users’ experience and well-position Neos to be a prime player in new markets — it’s a great feeling to be on the cusp of something so momentous.”
Per the release, integration offers data protection with “advanced encryption systems and level 1 PCI compliance,” along with customized reporting and document conversion, expedited payments and the ability to execute multiple processes within one platform.
Assembly said the LawPay integration will support “high-volume law firms looking for ways to be more competitive with the ability to convert more lead inquiries into cases.”
Earlier this year, LawPay began offering law firms the ability to provide buy now, pay later (BNPL) transactions through a service called ClientCredit.

It allows law firms to obtain full payment for services at the time of delivery while customers pay for those services in installments. The company said the benefits for firms include more reliable cash flow, faster payments and better client acquisition.
