Travel booking app Hopper and vacation rental hospitality company Evolve have partnered to streamline the vacation planning process by integrating Elove’s inventory of home rentals into the Hopper reservation app.
More than 24,000 Evolve vacation homes in over 750 markets will be available on the Hopper app, which has been downloaded in excess of 70 million times and is the third-largest online travel agency in the United States, according to a Monday (Aug. 29) press release.
“Evolve and Hopper are fully aligned in our mission to provide a great guest experience, from the booking process to the vacation itself,” said Evolve Senior Director of Distribution Partnerships Jay Whiteley in the release. “With Evolve’s inventory now in the Hopper app, guests can book with confidence, choosing from thousands of vetted and professionally cleaned homes backed by our Rest Easy Promise.”
Launched in 2011 and headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Evolve was founded by CEO Brian Egan and board member Adam Sherry to change the status quo in the hospitality industry, according to its website. The company strives to offer owners support, expertise and marketing strategies, and guests vetted homes, support and a Rest Easy Promise, which “means we’ll make it right, day or night.”
Founded by Frederic LaLonde in 2007 and headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Hopper partners with airlines, hotels, homes and car rental providers across the globe to help people book a vacation at the best price, according to its website. The company sells over $4.5 billion of travel every year and has raised over $600 million of private capital.
“The popularity of short-term rentals continues to rise and more customers — especially millennial and Gen Z customers — want to see vacation rentals on booking platforms and they have a standard of quality that they’re looking for,” said Head of Hopper Homes Susan Ho in the release. “By partnering with Evolve as our largest direct vacation rental supplier, Hopper is meeting this demand and teaming up with a true industry leader and fellow innovator who aligns with our values of delivering best-in-class hospitality and customer service.”
