MedShift has launched a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution for medical aesthetic businesses.
The new Velocity Technology Suite includes sales acceleration and business automation features designed for dermatology, plastic surgery and other aesthetic businesses, the medical technology company said in a Friday (May 19) press release.
“Our solution represents a significant milestone in empowering businesses to simultaneously achieve sales excellence and operational efficiency,” MedShift CEO Joe Gasque said in the release. “By bringing together sales acceleration and business automation in a single platform, we aim to simplify sales, customer service and finance processes.”
PYMNTS research has found that more than a few aspects of the healthcare journey are going digital.
Digital-first consumers prefer to use digital methods for at least five healthcare-related activities, such as receiving cost estimates before appointments, according to “Accessing Healthcare: Easing Digital Frictions in the Patient Journey,” a PYMNTS and Experian Health collaboration.
MedShift’s Velocity Technology Suite contributes to sales acceleration by enabling eCommerce, digital order entry, sales territory mapping and commission payout reporting, according to the press release.
To boost business automation, the platform also incorporates payment automation, subscription automation, variable sales rep compensation automation and integration with shipping carriers, the release said.
The SaaS solution also integrates with existing software systems and can be customized to align with the user’s workflows and processes, per the release.
“MedShift’s new SaaS solution is a result of a commitment to helping aesthetic businesses thrive in an increasingly competitive landscape,” the company said in the release.
Other companies have recently launched innovations in the medical aesthetic space.
PatientFi, a provider of payment solutions for large ticket aesthetic procedures, launched its Privi membership platform in April, enabling aesthetic practices to offer patients annual treatment plans with monthly payments.
With the Privi platform, practices can build annual beauty memberships that include neurotoxin, filler, skin care, body treatments and other aesthetic treatments and allow patients to pay monthly.
A month earlier, in March, BoomerangFX tapped Stripe to enable integrated payments within its clinic management platform designed for aesthetic medical practices that include noninsured, private pay segments like dermatology, cosmetic surgery, medical spa, cosmetic dentistry and women’s health.
