Merchant payments processing firm Century Business Solutions is adding a new solution to its eBizCharge payments gateway offering, and this time, it’s for helping businesses manage finances on the back end.

The company revealed Thursday (Dec. 17) that it is integrating digital invoicing capabilities within the gateway, dubbing it eBizCharge Connect.

The platform aims to heighten companies’ ability to accept payment via credit card and ACH and automate invoice processing, as well as to heighten their record-keeping procedures.

Companies on the eBizCharge portal can pay invoices online, and it supports partial payment and recurring payment. The solution is mobile-friendly, meaning businesses can accept payments and create invoices from smartphones and tablets. The payments are then processed through the eBizCharge gateway, the company said.

The information is also automatically integrated into existing ERP systems, allowing companies to aggregate financial data without the risk or error that comes from manual data entry.

Century Business Solutions added that the eInvoicing feature utilizes the same encryption and tokenization technologies in use by the eBizCharge payment gateway.

In a statement, Century Business Solutions VP of Software Engineering Mo Elhanafy said that eBizCharge Connect is part of the company’s broader effort to ease friction in digital payments for both corporations and their customers.
