Amazon announced yesterday (Oct. 26) that its grocery delivery platform, AmazonFresh, is continuing its march toward national domination with the addition of two new cities: Chicago and Dallas.
These new cities will join the AmazonFresh family cities/regions of Northern Virginia, Boston, Baltimore, London, Seattle, New York, Philadelphia, Stamford, Trenton, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego, San Francisco, Sacramento, San Jose and Stockton.
AmazonFresh allows customers to cover the majority of their grocery needs for everything from fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood, baked goods and dairy products to beauty products and household goods. AmazonFresh offers same-day or next-day delivery and allows consumers to choose between either attended or unattended delivery.
“We continue to expand AmazonFresh into new regions so that more and more customers can take advantage of the service,” said Ben Hartman, VP of AmazonFresh. “Whether they are busy with family, work, travel or something else, we believe all Prime members will enjoy the convenience and flexibility of AmazonFresh, in addition to the vast selection and low prices that the service offers.”
AmazonFresh is a $14.99 per month add-on to Prime membership, and new users can currently take advantage of a 30-day free trial of AmazonFresh and receive $25 off their first order of $75 or more by entering FRESH25 at checkout.
