CSI globalVCard Adds Corporate Travel Booking Partner

Virtual B2B payments company CSI globalVCard has added a new partner to the mix. The company revealed Wednesday (June 14) that it is integrating its virtual credit card solution with AmTrav, a corporate travel management company, to streamline corporate travel booking and payment.

In the announcement, CSI globalVCard said it will link its virtual card customers to AmTrav’s booking and travel management offerings, including real-time rates on world travel, hotels and car rentals. Right now, the platform allows hotel booking from within the portal with globalVCard virtual cards, with plans to add air and car payment with the vCards in the future, the companies said.

Their technologies will also be united within the CSI globalVCard mobile app, with users able to view their bookings made via AmTrav in the CSI globalVCard app.

“Our alliance with AmTrav is a natural progression towards our goal of fully integrated and secure electronic payments solutions within corporate travel,” said globalVCard Travel Senior Vice President Juliann Pless in a statement. “The future and work ethic of AmTrav is fully aligned with that of CSI globalVCARd, and we look forward to building our relationship along with even better client-focused travel solutions.”

“Our online booking tool technology was developed in-house to specifically address the needs of corporate travelers and their managers,” added Craig Fichtelberg, AmTrav president, in another statement. “Offering the additional security of virtual card payments along with the convenience and control of the CSI globalVCard mobile app makes perfect sense for this tool as well as our business model, which has always been about creating better solutions for the business traveler.”

CSI globalVCard added that its solution enables travel policy compliance via automated approvals and supports greater control over employees’ online payments made using vCards and issued to their companies.
