Study: 30% of Web Shoppers Research On Amazon Before Buying

Three in ten online shoppers go to Amazon.com to do product research before making a purchase, according to new research from Forrester. That puts it well ahead of Google, the first destination for 13 percent of online shoppers, VentureBeat says.
 
And Amazon isn’t just a research destination: if growth trends continue, the company could capture one-fifth of all eCommerce in the U.S., the report estimates.
