In a letter to app developers yesterday, Google Play announced that it’s working in introducing “new forms of payments” for its platform, reports TechCrunch.
Google already accepts MasterCard, American Express, Visa, Discover, prepaid cards and some carrier billing, so the new payments form may come in the form of a “Google Wallet balance,” letting the platform function more like PayPal.
The news came as part of a larger letter informing app developers that they will be paid 15 days after the end of each month as opposed to the original two-day window.
