Report: SMB mPOS Reader Adoption Reaches 40%

A new report from business insight provider BIA/Kelsey has revealed that 40 percent of small and mid-sized business owners use mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) devices attached to either a smartphone or tablet, Mobile Commerce Daily reported on August 5.

    The study further indicated that 32 percent of SMBs use mPOS in their mobile advertising efforts. This figure was up from the 28 percent observed last year.
