Minnesota-based big box retailer Best Buy has upgraded its mobile loyalty program to include features meant to improve the in-store shopping experience, Mobile Commerce Daily reported on September 18.

    Best Buy’s new loyalty program, called My Best Buy, replaces Best Buy’s Reward Zone program. App users will also be eligible for special promotions, and will receive bonus points for checking-in to a store.

    “The launch of My Best Buy is the first step in our journey to make shopping with Best Buy as rewarding as possible,” Jeremy Baier, a spokesman for Best Buy, told the media outlet.
