Visa, i2c Announce Strategic Partnership For Prepaid

Electronic payments network Visa and electronic payments processor i2c have announced a strategic alliance that will focus on bringing the benefits of prepaid solutions to consumers in Asia, Central Europe, the Middle East and Africa (APCEMEA), a November 19 press release revealed.

    The partnership will focus on a wide range of prepaid products, including government disbursement and virtual prepaid options.

    “Demand for prepaid cards is increasing across APCEMEA, which includes some of the world’s fastest growing regions,” Stacey Pinkerd, Asia-Pacific head of products at Visa, said in a November 19 statement. “To make sure Visa can quickly respond to issuer and partner’s needs, we are delighted to announce a strategic alliance with i2c that will improve prepaid processing options to cardholders throughout the region.”
