The New iPad Is Coming (In Gold, With Touch ID)

For a company that is so often referred to as having the Midas touch it should be entirely unsurprising when they decide subtly is for amateurs and release a gold iPad.   Or at least will soon be releasing a gold iPad, if reports are correct, which for an added bonus will also feature the new biometric identification system Apple Touch.  There are no reports if the new iPads will have NFC capabilities and will thus be usable with the Apple Pay system

A second round event in October, following the big show in September, is in line with Apple’s previous patterns.  Apart from an official announcement on the next-gen iPad, Apple is also expected to announce the next upgrade to Mac OS–Yosemite.
