Medius, a Swedish provider of accounts payable automation systems, on April 20 announced a new program to ease collaboration with independent software developers.
The program is called Radius, and Medius stated in the announcement that the first company engaged through it is expense-management specialist Rydoo.
Medius stated in the announcement that its products “automate the process of receiving, handling, approving and paying an invoice, and simplify the onboarding and managing of vendors.”
The company stated in today’s announcement that Radius is part of a plan to “create shared commercial opportunities for Medius and its ISV partners, while enabling customers to benefit from a broader suite of services through its platform.”
Matt Rhodus, vice president of Business Development and Strategy at Medius and the head of the Radius effort, said in a prepared statement: “Partnerships have been in Medius’s DNA from the very beginning with several strategic relationships already in existence. Now is the right time to evolve and formalize Radius as our new partner program.”
Rydoo is a software-as-a-service company that states its expense-management system makes it easy for employees to file expense reports and easy for finance staff to track expenses.
Rhodus added: “Expenses generate a huge amount of paperwork for accounts payable. By fully automating this traditionally manual process, the Medius-Rydoo partnership enables CFOs, accounting and finance departments to save precious time, valuable resources and reduce the potential for errors and or fraudulent behavior.”
According to the announcement, Rydoo was founded in 2018 and has 150 employees and 10,000 customers. The customer roster includes Burger King, Deloitte and Singapore Airlines.
Medius said existing partners SAP, Microsoft and Pagero will join Radius.
In March, Medius provided clients with a more efficient payment system that offers improved anomaly, fraud and risk detection when is acquired invoice payments provider OnPay Solutions.
