“The Vochi app gives creators the ability to apply high quality effects based on computer vision on objects in a video instantly,” said Ilya Lesun, CEO and co-founder at Vochi. “These technologies are unique in the industry, and we’re excited to bring them to an even larger audience as a part of the Pinterest team.”
Founded in 2019 in Cyprus by Lesun, Anna Buglakova, Vasily Kasnitsky and Sergey Malyutin, Vochi offers real-time photo and editing tools that are intended to be effortless to use.
“Our ambition is to provide creators with a powerful tool that helps them make outstanding videos much faster, saving them time and energy for more creation and inspiration,” said Buglakova, chief product officer and co-founder at Vochi.
For the time being, the Vochi app will continue operating as a standalone app.
Pinterest was co-founded in Silicon Valley in 2009 by current CEO Ben Silbermann, Evan Sharp and Paul Sciarra.
