OSF Digital of Quebec City, Canada, on Tuesday (June 14) announced it has purchased Kolekto, a Brazilian digital commerce company that operates in the business-to-business (B2B) and customer relationship management (CRM) space.
OSF Digital said is was acquiring Kolekto, which operates in the automotive, energy and manufacturing sectors, to beef up its Salesforce Customer 360 capabilities and to expand its presence in Brazil, where OSF Digital has its second-largest cluster of employees.
Terms of the deal were not announced.
Gerard Szatvanyi, chief executive of OSF Digital, said in a prepared statement: “The acquisition of Kolekto will bring us a team of highly experienced and talented CRM professionals to drive innovative Salesforce multi-cloud solutions to better serve our customers in industries such as automotive, manufacturing, energy, transportation, and financial services.”
OSF Digital said in the announcement that Kolekto’s clients in Brazil include BMW Group Brazil, Renault and Supergasbras.
Hugo Medrado, co-chief executive for technology and services director at Kolekto, said in a prepared statement: “Joining a leading digital transformation company will maximize the reach of our innovative products and services while continuing to serve our valued customers in Latin America.”
In April 2022, OSF Digital announced it had raised $100 million in Series C funding. The funding round was led by Sunshine Capital and also included existing investors Delta-v Capital and Salesforce Ventures, according to the announcement.
With the acquisition, OSF Digital said it now has more than 2,000 employees spread across 49 offices globally and serving more than 1,000 clients. Over the past year, the company also has acquired Adept Group, Relation1, Paladin Group, FitForCommerce, Datarati and Netnomics, according to the announcement. And in 2021, OSF invested in Teia Labs, a Brazil-based artificial intelligence company. OSF Digital is about 15 years old.
