This month in restaurant aggregators, Instacart gained steam, while Deliveroo took a tumble.
Using a proprietary combination of publicly available information plus app usage data to which PYMNTS has access, the July edition of PYMNTS’ Provider Ranking of Aggregators showed some apps performing better than in the past and others sliding down the ranks.
The Top Five
DoorDash held strong at No. 1 with its maximum possible 100 points.
Similarly, Uber Eats held onto its silver medal, but this month, Instacart pulled ahead from its previous fourth place spot to take the bronze.
Just Eat jumped up from No. 5 to No. 4, and last month’s sixth place picks Swiggy and Zomato pulled into the top five at No. 5.
The Top 10
Deliveroo slipped from its previous place at No. 3 all the way down to No. 6, losing its place in the top five.
Grubhub held steady at No. 7, as did Glovo at No. 8.
Similarly, SkipTheDishes held onto its spot at No. 9, but this time it tied with last month’s 10th place pick Menulog.
Closing out the top 10, Talabat eked its way into the No. 10 spot.
Find out if Deliveroo can once again pull ahead or if it will stay out of the top five in next month’s edition of PYMNTS’ Provider Ranking of Aggregators.
