Birol Küle is the president of the Turkish Competition Authority (Rekabet Kurumu). From 1992 to 2010, he worked at different participation banks, after which he took office at the Saving Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF) as the Head of Collection Department. Following this position, he was appointed as a member to the Capital Markets Board (CMB), where he served as Deputy Chairman and Investor Compensation Center member.
