Buy now, pay later (BNPL) company Opy USA, Inc., through its platform, Openpay Pty Ltd, along with contactless payments firm Everyware, launched a Pay by Text BNPL solution, according to a Tuesday (Oct. 12) press release.
As part of the collaborative effort, Opy will incorporate its BNPL product offering within the Everyware platform to deliver text message payment options to consumers. Opy offers installment payments of up to 24 months and limits of up to $20,000. The company serves various industries, including automotive, healthcare, home improvement, memberships and education.
“With Opy, we are now able to feature a differentiated BNPL offering that will enable merchants and consumers alike to have greater control over their financial decisions and payment options, which is in line with our commitment to jumpstarting the next generation of payments,” said Kevin Feagan, chief revenue officer of Everyware.
Founded in 2015, Everyware offers comprehensive billing solutions, helping companies collect payments and engage with customers, especially through text messaging via its Pay by Text platform.
