Ingenico and ROAM have announced a joint expansion that will bring mobile payments solutions to eight new markets this year, according to a November 13 press release.
The move coincides with the launch of the ROAM Mobile Commerce Manager, an EMV-compatible mobile payment engine that enables merchants to digitally manage each step in the mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) chain.
“We already see marked interest in such solution in eight countries, and are looking forward to support retailers, banks and telcos to improve their payment solutions,” Jean-March Thienpont, an Ingencio mobile payments official, said in a statement.
