Splitit Joins Visa Ready for BNPL Program
Buy now, pay later (BNPL) firm Splitit has become the latest company to join the Visa Ready for BNPL program. Splitit said its collaboration with Visa allows it to offer its customers flexible payment options along with “the transparency, control and budget management capabilities they demand.”
Mastercard Brings Financial Inclusion Offering to Central America
Mastercard is unveiling a financial inclusion program in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras designed to “accelerate the company’s objective of including 5 million unbanked individuals and digitize and provide credit access to 1 million micro and small businesses.” The program is part of Mastercard’s work with the Partnership for Central America and includes a $100 million investment in digital financial services in the three countries, where about 60% of adults don’t have bank accounts.
Cazoo Expands Online Car Platform to Spain
European online car retailer Cazoo has expanded into Spain, allowing customers there to access a fleet of reconditioned vehicles, buy them online and have them delivered to their doors. Cazoo customers can review 360-degree images as well as information about the car’s features and history. If a customer is unhappy with the vehicle, Cazoo will take it at no charge within the first seven days. Each Cazoo vehicle in Spain comes with a seven-day money-back guarantee and a 12-month warranty.
ACI Worldwide Pairs With Payment Manager NORBr on eCommerce Tools
Real-time payments firm ACI Worldwide has joined forces with NORBr, a payment services distributor platform for digital merchants, to help merchants connect to ACI’s solutions. Nigel Reavley, country manager of France for ACI Worldwide, said the company’s merchant payment solutions will be available through NORBr to provide retailers and third-party payment service providers (PSP) with the “tools and technology to increase conversion rates and grow their businesses.”
