Payments credit union service organization (CUSO) PSCU announced Tuesday (May 25) that Together Credit Union in St. Louis, which has over $2 billion in assets, has become a part of the cooperative for “full-service credit and debit card processing support and services,” according to a press release emailed to PYMNTS.
“Together Credit Union was seeking a true strategic partner, and our shared commitment to delivering an unparalleled member experience makes this partnership a natural fit,” said PSCU Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer Scott Wagner in the release. “The entire PSCU team is extremely pleased to welcome Together Credit Union to the cooperative. We are eager to put our industry-leading technologies, tools and services to work to take the credit union’s overall payments experience to a new level.”
The credit and debit processing services of Together Credit Union will be converted in the fourth quarter of this year and will support over 134,000 members across the country, according to the release
“PSCU positioned itself above the other partners we were considering with its member-facing experience abilities and user-friendly service platform for our employees,” said Together Credit Union Vice President of Remote Services and Payments Kory Kunze in the release. “We also felt PSCU’s leadership was very engaged in the process and believe the CUSO will be a valued strategic partner for years to come.”
PSCU said in the release that it “supports the success of 1,500 credit unions representing more than 5.4 billion transactions annually.”
The news comes as PSCU will offer credit processing support to Credit Union of Texas, in addition to support services for debit, as part of an extended partnership, PYMNTS previously reported. PSCU has provided debit services to Credit Union of Texas for a long time, “making an expansion into credit services a seamless transition,” according to a previous press release. To that point, the CUSO will provide credit card services and support to the CU beginning in the summer.
