Bursting onto the scene over the past decade, the sharing economy has disrupted some of the most traditional industries. One of the largest disruptions came to the hotels with Airbnb’s 2008 entry into the vacation rental market.
Following a filing of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) forms last year making over half a million, Airbnb just filed Form D to close its Series F funding.
