Mana Interactive, a FinTech serving gamers, has gone live with The Mana Banking App, Checking Account, Debit Card and Rewards Program, a press release said.
Mana provides a checking account and debit card offering a rewards program for gamers, which will offer prizes for time spent in-game and for everyday purchases. The company also has plans to debut its services in Sidequest and SteamVR, making it the first U.S. service provider in virtual reality.
“At Mana, every team member here is a gamer,” said Mana CEO and founder Joe Zhou. “We pride ourselves on empowering fellow gamers and building things that we would use daily. We can’t wait to reveal the foundation we’ve been working on since last year and this is just the first step.”
Mana users can earn points on various gaming and entertainment subscriptions including PlayStation Plus, Xbox Game Pass, Nintendo Switch Online, Discord Nitro, EA Play, Amazon Prime, Netflix and more.
Earlier this year, PYMNTS wrote about Mana’s platform, including a deposit account and the Mana Visa Debit Card’s neobanking solution.

The unified platform will give incentives to engage with games and get rewarded for purchases, with users able to redeem rewards through the Mana mobile app for game keys, gift cards, in-game currency and other such things.
It will come with other benefits like the game subscription discounts and exclusive access to events, gaming hardware, betas and demos.
There will be two types of accounts, a free Mana account and the subscription-based Mana Pro account, including a yearly subscription and more rewards and perks, and a high-end metal card.
PYMNTS wrote at the time that those who registered before the product launched got a Day One badge, with the first 1,000 signing up getting 10,000 Mana Points to use in the company shop.
