Global identity verification firm Trulioo has onboarded six new clients as part of its GlobalGateway marketplace of digital identity data and services, according to a press release emailed to PYMNTS on Tuesday (Dec. 14).
Centbee, GMO Trust, Omni Matrix, Skilling, Strike Protocols and Vintech Capital are all now part of Trulioo’s platform that enables organizations to execute identity checks to meet the stipulations of know your customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance conditions.

“The pandemic democratized the world of financial services, helping casual or novice investors explore financial trading online,” said Steve Munford, CEO of Trulioo.

The popularity of cryptocurrency has grown exponentially in the past two years, with the global COVID-19 pandemic helping fuel the move toward digital processes for financial transactions.

With U.S. student records recently added to the company’s GlobalGateway, Trulioo customers can now verify the identity of 97% of U.S. students. The expanded verification capabilities can help Gen Z better access financial products, since most students have sparse or no credit history.
