Mobile payment solution DigiWallet is partnering with mobile financial services software firm Telepin to advance mobile financial services in Belize, according to a press release on Monday (April 4).
Among the global leaders in financial software for mobile processes, Telepin is powering the nationwide rollout of the new mobile payments platform DigiWallet throughout Belize.
“DigiWallet will revolutionize the payment experience in Belize, driving innovation, financial inclusion, and greater financial choices to Belizeans,” said Ivan Tesucum, CEO at Digi.
“After a careful analysis, we selected Telepin because of its cloud-native, scalable and feature-rich mobile financial services software. The Telepin team led solution implementation and system integration and deployed our cloud-hosted solution in a few months,” Tesucum said.

Using Telepin’s software, DigiWallet will offer mobile banking throughout Belize, benefiting both merchants and consumers. The solution offers app-based transactions with secure embedded USSD, enabling immediate payments and money transfers to and from anywhere in Belize.
