The ConnectedEconomy™ (CE) Index is a new benchmarking tool. Its goal is to measure the progress of the world’s digital transformation by tracking the digital behaviors of 15,109 consumers across 11 countries, which together account for 50% of the global GDP.
The tracking includes how often consumers engage in 40 outlined activities, the purchases they make and the payment methods they use. The countries include Australia, Brazil, the EU-5 (France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain), Japan, Singapore, the United States and the United Kingdom.
The CE Index is a tangible benchmark for how countries and their economies are being digitally transformed and for examining the digital infrastructure and innovations necessary to accelerate that transformation. The analysis will be updated quarterly.
