Mastercard has added new offerings from QuickBooks, Microsoft and Zoho to its collection of U.S. small business benefits to help small companies make the most of their digital presence, according to an announcement.
“Together with our partners, we are delivering a solid foundation of digital offerings and tools for our small business cardholders that help them sustain their business today and accelerate their growth tomorrow,” Chiro Aikat, executive vice president of products and innovation in North America for Mastercard, said in the announcement.
Small business cardholders will receive discounts or credits to QuickBooks, Microsoft and Zoho offerings beginning on Thursday (April 1).
To that end, they can receive a 40 percent discount on QuickBooks Online Payroll for six months. They can also obtain $125 in advertising credit after spending $10 with Microsoft Advertising.
In addition, Mastercard BusinessCard cardholders can obtain a 50 percent discount on one year of Zoho Social. World Elite Mastercard for Business cardholders can receive a 50 percent discount on a year of Zoho Marketing Plus.
“We are thrilled to partner with Mastercard to offer our social media management tool and end-to-end digital marketing platform — Zoho Social and Zoho Marketing Plus — so that small businesses can fast-track their growth,” Raju Vegesna, Chief Evangelist at Zoho, said in the announcement.
Alongside the new offerings, Mastercard continues to offer digital resources and partner discounts with offerings like Salesforce Essentials and QuickBooks and TurboTax discounts in addition to access to Mastercard Easy Savings, Mastercard ID Theft Protection and 24/7 Business Assistant as well as Mastercard Receipt Management powered by Itemize.
Last April, Mastercard committed $250 million over five years to support small- to medium-sized businesses (SMBs), recognizing that the pandemic has greatly impacted Main Street businesses.
“We are leveraging our network, insights, technology and partnerships to deliver the resources small business owners need now to help them sustain their business as they quickly adapt to a new way of operating and evolved customer needs,” Mastercard President Michael Miebach said in a release at the time.
