Mastercard has chosen 16 companies to take part in its the Mastercard Send Partner Program, designed to help banks, FinTech providers and system integrators deliver more convenient and secure real-time digital payments to their customers.
Adyen, AptPay, Checkout.com, Cognizant, Fenige, Green Dot, Ingo Money, KyckGlobal, Opentech, OpenText, Oracle, PayPal, Stripe, TabaPay, Transcard and Verestro are the initial partners joining the program, according to a press release emailed to PYMNTS.
“In a world where people increasingly expect to pay and get paid how they want, and instantly, Mastercard Send enables people and organizations to send and receive money in real-time around the world,” the company said in the release. “It is designed to help banks, businesses and digital players modernize the way they send payments so that they can provide their customers with increased control over their finances, while they benefit from greater customer acquisition and retention.”

Mastercard said in the release that additional partners will be announced throughout the year. The company will work with these technology partners to enhance the functionality of Send and accelerate its deployment worldwide.
Benefits of the program include go-to-market collaboration, access to industry insights and training sessions, and technical support, according to the release.
