The Top 5
You know it, we know it: the lizard leads. At No. 1 for another month is the GEICO Mobile — Car Insurance, and much the same order is seen among power players as in the previous ranking.
At No. 2 sits Progressive, for example, and the State Farm app is firmly planted at No. 3.
Coming in at No. 4 is Allstate Mobile and its “good hands” surety, with the USAA Mobile app samey-same at No. 5, completing the Top 5 for this Provider Ranking of Insurance Apps.
The Top 10
Now it gets more interesting — not a word often used regarding insurance. But these are insurance apps. It’s not your grandma’s homeowners policy (though she should check it out).
Leaping up two chart positions in a single bound is the Esurance Mobile app, squeezing the Lemonade Insurance app down one spot to No. 7.
Also falling one spot, but still squarely in the Top 10, is the Liberty Mutual Mobile app at No. 8.
Standing firm at No. 9 for another month is the Jerry.ai: Car & Home Insurance app and its new pact with home remodeling firm Kukun.
When you least expect it … bam! New this month at No. 10 is a well-known name, Farmers Insurance Mobile, completing this edition of PYMNTS Provider Ranking of Insurance Apps.
