Berlin’s phone-as-a-service (PaaS) startup Everphone is readying for its launch in the U.S. with headquarters in Miami, Florida, one of the country’s fastest-growing technology hubs, according to a press release on Friday (Dec. 17).
For a monthly subscription price, Everphone supplies, repairs, replaces and recycles mobile devices for enterprise customers. The company chose Miami for its pool of tech talent and proximity to high-growth firms and investors.

Everphone’s entry into the U.S. market followed its $200 million fundraise earlier this month. With the growth of hybrid work fueled by the pandemic, it’s been harder for companies to manage employees’ devices.
“Everphone serves efficiency-minded, environmentally conscious organizations that want to create world-class employee experiences, and that makes us confident that the U.S. market will quickly adopt our phone-as-a-service model,” said Jan Dzulko, CEO and founder of Everphone.
“If we win over this huge market, we will contribute to better-run businesses, even as we help deliver a significant reduction in carbon footprint and a much-improved employee experience. In a nutshell, Everphone makes digitization simple and sustainable.”

On the global level, Everphone has 200 employees that support over 1,000 customers using some 125 devices. In the U.S., the company is working with several clients, including mobility provider TIER and delivery service Starship.
The company’s U.S. operations are headed by General Manager Tillmann Schwabe, who comes to Everphone from CompuGroup Medical as VP of sales. He also spent several years in various executive positions at IONOS. Schwabe started his career as the founder and CEO of a digital merchant for nutritional supplements.
“Whether it’s meeting the needs of a changing workforce, achieving sustainability goals or keeping up with the latest technology while remaining secure and compliant, everphone is perfectly positioned to help U.S. companies optimize their use of phones, tablets and laptops,” said Schwabe.
