eBay CEO: PayPal “Exploring Ways” To Accept Bitcoin

The Wall Street Journal reports that PayPal is exploring ways to accept Bitcoin as a payments option.

    “It’s a new disruptive technology, so, yeah, we’re looking at Bitcoin closely,” John Donahoe, CEO of PayPal’s parent company eBay, told the Wall Street Journal. “There may be ways to enable it inside PayPal.”

    Donahoe said his company has made no formal commitment to accept the currency in the future.
