GoCardless Offers New Services For Direct Debit
GoCardless, an online payments provider, has announced the roll out of their online Direct Debits payment tool that will allow for more small and medium size enterprises in the UK to collect one-off and recurring payments, reports Finextra. Previously, only larger companies had access to the digital infrastructure banks need to support the Direct Debit system. In an effort to expand the payments industry and encompass a wider consumer audience, GoCardless has been allowing all businesses and individuals to use the Direct Debit system since 2011. The new system also allows for businesses to adjust the monthly amount that customers pay.
