Mukuru, an English online payment platform, announced the launch of a mobile application that allows customers to make money transfers for African subscribers, reported Humanipo. The new app was created to help serve consumers living in Zimbabwe, Botswana, Tanzania, Uganda, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya and South Africa.
Mukuru subscribers will be able to purchase credit, transfer money and make cross-border payments with the app. Users can also track balance statements and make airtime purchases via Mukuru.
The virtual money platform offers customer support through live chat, email and phone. It also offers other features such as chat messaging and picture sharing.
