eCommerce platform Shopify has announced that it will now allow sellers to accept bitcoin for payment, CoinDesk reported on November 9.
The new system will use BitPay as an exchange platform. According to CoinDesk, Brian Alkerton, a PR representative from Shopify, announced the change in the company’s user forum.
“When active, BitPay will appear as a credit card processor in the Checkout page of your shop admin – enter your access key and you’ll be all set to go,” Alkerton wrote.
