Canada-based eCommerce platform Shopify unveiled Shopify POS, its new iPad retail point-of-sale (POS) solution on August 28, a company blog post revealed.
Shopify POS automatically syncs online and virtual store inventory, accepts American Express, MasterCard and Visa credit cards and tracks analytics.
“What people needed was something that allowed them to run their physical store, and run their online store, and allowed them to accept payments, and we thought ‘Well, we can do all these things,'” the company’s vice president of product, Adam McNamara, told TechCrunch.
