White Castle recently launched a mobile-ordering service, but the regional quick-service restaurant chain reportedly is holding off on loyalty initiatives.
White Castle’s app allows users to place orders from their device after they open an account. The app, however, does not include features that could transmit promotional information to users.
Kim Bartley, White Castle vice president of marketing and site development, said in a statement the company eventually may experiment with loyalty, Mobile Commerce Daily reported on Feb. 3.
“We are looking at a test of a loyalty-type of program, but don’t have any specifics at this time,” Bartley said.
