This new funding brings the value of the company up to $485 million.
“We know what it means to grow quickly and not have to raise a lot of money, which isn’t always celebrated in our culture, but we have celebrated it here,” says Katia Beauchamp, co-CEO and co-founder of Birchbox told Fortune.
The company is planning to increase its marketing with TV and magazine ads. They are also considering international expansion, possibly into Canada and countries near to its current operations in France, Spain and the UK.
