    The survey, released by Cheil Worldwide, also revealed that 40 percent of smartphone owners made a purchase with their device sometime in 2013.

    Another 55 percent opted to use their phone to buy a product in a store, The Drum reported on Feb. 11. Forty-six percent relied on their phones to research potential purchases online.
