Verifone, a payments and commerce solutions provider, announced today (Dec. 3) Christophe Job, has joined Verifone as senior vice president and chief technology officer of its solutions delivery organization.
Job, a former Oracle senior executive, was brought onto the team to drive a new wave of innovative software solutions and bring leading-edge, strategic value to Verifone’s global clients.
“A respected software executive in Silicon Valley, we welcome Christophe, who will take Verifone’s software solutions delivery to another level of global excellence and capture the exciting potential of payment and commerce integration,” said Alok Bhanot, executive vice president, Global Technology Organization and chief technology officer at Verifone.
Job will play a role in driving the performance of Verifone’s payment ecosystem. By focusing on new software services and application development, his role entails continuing to develop Verifone’s roadmap to introduce new levels of communication and engagement at the point of sale (POS).

Job has held several leadership roles at Oracle, most recently as senior vice president of Oracle Fusion Middleware, where he was instrumental in growing the division from zero revenue to the $5 billion business it is today.
