Instagram just hit another major milestone this week and Facebook was quick to share just how much Instagram is contributing to its portfolio.
Four years after being acquired by Facebook for $1 billion, Instagram is predicted to contribute $3.2 billion to Facebook’s annual revenue this year, according to Credit Suisse. According to eMarketer, this growth could make for up to 15 percent of Facebook’s U.S. earnings this year and 8 percent of its global revenue.
