Cloud-based procurement software firm eBid is taking a fresh approach to its digital procurement solutions. The company said on Friday (May 13) that it will roll out a new tool, ProcureWare, later this month as it looks to revamp corporate purchasing.

“ProcureWare is not just an incremental improvement of an existing application but a new platform that represents our vision for the future in supporting how companies engage with their suppliers,” stated eBid Systems Founder and President Keith Jones in a statement.

The firm elaborated that the new tool, which took three years to develop, provides a holistic platform that combines procurement with supplier management, sourcing and contract management. It’s geared towards smaller and mid-market firms, as eBid noted that many eProcurement players focus on large corporations.

“Unlike a software startup coming into the space, we have had the opportunity of working side by side with sourcing organizations over the last 15 years who have told us what they want,” the executive continued, adding that ProcureWare is scalable to corporate needs and sizes.

The procurement solution can be configured to any language or currency and provides enhanced reporting and data analytics services for users, said eBid.

The company is also launching a revamped website to coincide with the release of its new procurement platform.

“Through this time of growth, the company is dedicated to remain true to its principle of client service,” eBid Director of Client Services Danielle Stoehr stated.
