Viewpoint has developed a cloud-based solution specific to the construction sector in an effort to boost productivity for the industry, it said.
The company said Friday (June 2) it launched Viewpoint Enterprise Cloud (VEC), unveiling the solution at the 2017 ENR Future Tech conference. Designed for construction companies, the cloud-based tool supports businesses’ in-office and in-the-field needs, Viewpoint said.
The tool is a holistic solution that supports accounting, payroll, project management, data collection and other features, streamlining these processes on a single portal despite the need for companies in the construction industry to operate in multiple locations.
“It’s widely acknowledged that intelligent technology can make the critical difference in increasing profitability and managing risk in the construction industry,” said Viewpoint Senior Vice President of Product Management Matt Harris in a statement. “With Viewpoint Enterprise Cloud, our customers get all the benefits of an integrated construction platform without the hassle of having to host their software solutions, freeing them up to focus on what matters most to their business: managing risk, controlling cost and delivering exceptional products.”
