Century Business Solutions Enhances Payment Processing On NetSuite

Merchant services provider Century Business Solutions is enhancing its payment processing tool, EBizCharge, integrated into the NetSuite ERP platform. A press release Monday (Aug. 20) said updates to its EBizCharge for NetSuite solution include enhanced integration of payment data, enabling companies to automatically have line-item invoice information sent from NetSuite into the EBizCharge payment gateway.

The gateway supports card payments for invoices, including government and commercial cards. According to Century Business Solutions, the update allows businesses to more securely process payments within NetSuite without manual data entry. The company’s payment card industry (PCI)-compliant solution has encryption and tokenization technology to safeguard card data.

In addition to the enhanced data integration, Century Business Solutions said it plans to launch a customer payment portal — EBizCharge Connect for NetSuite — that will provide businesses with a platform on which they can upload invoices so their customers can make payments and review outstanding invoices. Invoices that are paid via the EBizCharge Connect for NetSuite portal will have payment and invoice data automatically inputted into the NetSuite system, the company noted. Businesses will be able to add their own logos into the portal interface for customers to see, and the payment portal can be imbedded within companies’ websites.

In an earlier interview with PYMNTS, Century Business Solutions VP of Sales Scott McEwing discussed the importance of connecting ERP systems to accounting and payment portals.

“Businesses don’t have to reach out to their customer via telephone or email on a monthly basis,” he explained. “It creates ease of use for the customer because they don’t have to call in, either.”

Last year, Century Business Solutions launched its EBizCharge solution for SAP Business One HANA, enabling the payment application to imbed into the SAP ERP portal and automate data entry when payments are made. EBizCharge supports card and ACH payments processing.
