Two small business software providers are integrating their solutions to streamline the process of hiring and managing employees.
In an announcement Monday (Aug. 27), hiring and talent management solutions provider Hireology said it struck a partnership with BambooHR, a human resources firm for SMBs. Together, their solutions will help small businesses manage hiring new talent and the maintenance of those new hires without manual data entry between the two platforms. New hires can be automatically onboarded into BambooHR from the Hireology platform.
“Hireology is focused on providing a proven hiring process to enable organizations to build their best teams,” said Hireology co-founder and CEO Adam Robinson. “But we know that an incredible experience can’t end when the hire is made.”
According to the companies, the HR field has increased its demand for integrated, end-to-end solutions that encompass talent acquisition, payroll, benefits, and other HR-related operations.
“We believe this integration will empower employees and managers to spend less time dealing with paperwork and processes and more time focusing on their people,” said BambooHR senior director of business development Todd Grierson in another statement.
BambooHR’s solution includes time-off tracking, talent training and other features that allow businesses to manage their hours and benefits.
The small business talent acquisition and human resources management fields are hot spots for FinTech today. Researchers from Robert Half Technology recently found that IT decision-makers face some of the toughest challenges when hiring new talent, with most admitting in a recent survey they have made a bad hire.
The complexity of new technologies and the difficulty of finding talent make for new challenges in the talent acquisition process. Other hurdles include the current low unemployment rate, as well as the rise of on-demand gig workers, which introduce new hiring and HR-related points of friction.
