TrueCommerce has announced an Advanced Sales, Purchasing and Warehouse integration with Microsoft‘s Dynamics 365 Business Central. As a provider of trading partner connectivity, integration and unified commerce solutions, TrueCommerce’s Global Commerce Network boasts more than “92,000 pre-connected retailers, distributors and logistics service providers.”
This new move will allow TrueCommerce’s manufacturers, distributors and suppliers to integrate with its sales channels, as well as manage and automate channel compliance and fulfillment needs.
“The TrueCommerce network aggregates orders across a diverse set of sales channels, including retailers, suppliers, eCommerce storefronts and marketplaces, while integrating them directly with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central,” according to TrueCommerce President Ross Elliott in a press release. “TrueCommerce extends connected fulfillment capabilities for Dynamics 365 Business Central with advanced cartonization, parcel shipping and integrations with third-party logistics companies.”
Some of the benefits of TrueCommerce and Microsoft‘s cloud integration include “automation of order-to-cash processes;” expanded packing capabilities to meet clients’ individual demands with Advanced Ship Notice compliance; built-in auto-pack rules to enable users to “comply with unique customer packaging and labeling requirements; advanced packing and parcel shipping with TrueCommerce Pack & Ship; purchasing integration, which includes purchase order … update, shipments and invoice integration capabilities;” the ability “to update customers on inventory status;” and “controls and automation for all integrated documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.”
The integration is an extension of TrueCommerce Foundry, a “set of unified commerce services and apps” designed to connect “customers, suppliers, channels and systems.” The Foundry helps businesses optimize their “omnichannel initiatives through business P2P connectivity, order management, collaborative replenishment, intelligent fulfillment, cross-functional analytics and product information management.”
Just last month, TrueCommerce announced a partnership with ChannelAdvisor, a cloud-based eCommerce solutions provider, that will create “a leading integrated network of marketplaces, wholesale channels, drop-ship vendors, fulfillment partners and business systems on one cloud-based platform.”
